Queensland has recorded 33 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since Sunday, taking the State total to 689.
The new cases include four in the Darling Downs Health region, taking the tally to 28.
This figure includes mild cases and patients who have fully recovered.
In the Wide Bay Health region, there are 17 confirmed cases – the same as yesterday.
The largest number of cases continue to be in the Metro North region (183), Metro South (169), Gold Coast (136) and Sunshine Coast (71).
Contact tracing is under way for the 33 new cases.
At 6:00am on Monday, there had been 4093 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Australia, including 284 new cases since 6:00am on Sunday.
Fifty-five of these 4093 cases were being treated in intensive care units.
The largest number of cases have been recorded in NSW (1918) and Victoria (769).
There have been 18 deaths across Australia since the crisis began.
