Queensland Health has released a COVID-19 public health alert for three venues on the Sunshine Coast.

A person who visited the three venues has tested positive and is now being managed by the relevant Hospital and Health Service.

The person visited the following venues while unknowingly infectious:

  • Land & Sea Brewery: The Noosa Beer Company at Noosaville, between 1:00pm-3:00pm on Friday, March 13
  • Sum Yung Guys Restaurant, Sunshine Beach, between 6:45pm and 8:45pm on March 13
  • Sunshine Beach Surf Life Saving Club on March 14 (3:45pm-11:30pm) and March 15 (12:30pm-2:00pm).

While the risk is very low, some people also present could potentially have been exposed.

Queensland Health is calling for people who attended these locations during these times to monitor their health for 14 days from the listed dates, and see a doctor immediately if they develop any symptoms; there is no risk to anyone who has been to these locations before or after this period.
