Charges After Police Station Visit

A 62-year-old man who drove to Nanango police station on December 23 may now be regretting his decision … he has ended up facing multiple charges and will appear in Nanango Magistrates Court.

While talking to police, they noticed he appeared to be affected by drugs.

A search of his person allegedly located a small amount of amphetamine.

He was also charged with drug driving.

A 60-year-old man will appear in Nanango Magistrates Court charged with producing dangerous drugs after Kingaroy detectives searched a property at Wattle Camp before Christmas.

The raid, on December 22, allegedly located a number of cannabis plants and drug utensils.

Nanango police are seeking information about a man spotted riding a black and blue-coloured pit bike along a footpath beside the D’Aguilar Highway on December 27 at 12:40pm.

Police tried to intercept the rider with emergency lights and sirens however he drove through Lions Park and to the rear of BP Nanango, evading police.
