QFES issued an advice alert on Friday morning for the Kingaroy fire which has been burning since last Saturday afternoon.

At 7:15am, QFES said the fire burning near Schellbachs Road, Booie-Crawford Road and North Branch Road was contained.

Fire crews were continuing to monitor the area but residents would be affected by smoke over the next few days which would reduce visibility in the area.

The QFES said no properties were under direct threat at this time.

Residents should call Triple Zero (000) immediately if they believed they or their properties were under threat.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises there is a bushfire in Kingaroy.

You need to keep up-to-date and decide what actions you will take if the situation changes.

A bushfire is burning between Schellbachs Road, Booie-Crawford Road and North Branch Road.

The fire is currently contained and crews will continue to monitor the area.

People in the area will be affected by smoke over the coming days, which will reduce visibility and air quality.

Properties are not under direct threat at this time.

Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if you believe you or your property is under threat.
