Wondai Race Club will be holding its annual Caulfield Cup race meeting – always one of its biggest meetings of the year – at the Wondai Racecourse in Baynes Street on Saturday (October 19).

It will be a five-race meeting and the first race will leave the barriers at 1:40pm.

As usual, the meeting will feature an on-course TAB, live telecasts of interstate races, an undercover betting ring, barbecue and bar, as well as the Lady Luck Cocktail Bar.

This meeting’s theme is “Spring Florals” and guests who dress to it can compete in the Fashions Of The Field competition for great prizes.

Gates will open at the track about 11:30am and the feature race of the day – the Roy and Glenis Radunz Wondai Cup – will leave the barriers at 4:10pm.

Admission to the course is $10.

Saturday’s meeting is being sponsored by G. Crumpton and Sons, the Ryan family, Samios Plumbing Supplies, Murgon Tyres and More and Murgon Outdoor Equipment.
