Kingaroy Rotary Club is inviting local employers to nominate an employee for a Rotary “Pride of Workmanship” award.

Service Project Director Mark Pitt said “Pride of Workmanship” awards had not been held by Kingaroy Rotary for several years but it was hoped it would become a regular event on the club’s calendar.

“We believe ‘Pride of Workmanship’,  the sense of responsibility to do a job well (do it once – do it well) is one of the greatest intangible assets in our community,” Mark said.

Nominees will receive their award at a Presentation Dinner to be held at SBcare on November 16.

The selection criteria for the award include:

  • Demonstrated pursuit of excellence in work practices
  • Approach to work tasks and fellow workers
  • Customer service or standard of service delivery
  • Quality of personal attributes

Nominations can be submitted by an employer, member of the public or a Rotarian before October 13.
