A group of crafty women helped raise more than $900 for the South Burnett’s Relay For Life campaign on Sunday … and had a whole heap of fun doing it.

The Cards For a Cure day was organised by South Burnett Relay For Life chairperson Rowena Dionysius and Kingaroy Office Central’s Susan Robertson.

About 20 people turned up at the South Burnett Enterprise For A Day of fun, creativity and raffles.

They all had two things in common: a love of making cards and a desire to help Relay For Life.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea – provided by JC Catering – were included in the ticket price.

As well as regular cards, the group also made note pad holders and some speciality folding cards.

Rowena said she would like to thank Kaisercraft for donating the card-making kits and South Burnett CTC for the use of the room.
