The South Burnett’s annual National Police Remembrance Day service will be hosted by the Uniting Church in Wondai this year.

The annual service honours police who have lost their lives in the line of duty as well as the dedication and bravery of all police.

It is hosted by a different town in the South Burnett every year.

South Burnett police have invited the public to join them in the commemoration which will be held from 10:00am on Friday, September 27, at the Uniting Church at 56 Pring Street, Wondai.

Office-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney said guests are invited to lay a floral tribute or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Police Legacy at the service.
