A driver was lucky to escape with only minor injuries after a single-vehicle rollover on the D’Aguilar Highway on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred about five kilometres north of Nanango about 4:50pm.

A QAS spokesperson said paramedics transported a man with back pain to Nanango Hospital in a stable condition.

A man aged in his 20s was taken to Gympie Hospital with minor injuries after his vehicle crashed and then caught alight on Glastonbury Road at Glastonbury on Wednesday night.

Emergency services were called to incident just after 8:30pm.

The man was treated by paramedics at the scene and transported in a stable condition.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames.

Police from the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit detected a Kingaroy man travelling at 147km/h in a 100km/h zone on Kingaroy-Cooyar Road at Goodger on Monday afternoon.

The officer reported that the vehicle’s speed shook the speed camera van the officer was sitting in.

The driver will receive a $1245 fine,  eight demerit points and lose their licence for six months.
