Toowoomba Regional Council is inviting Yarraman and Cooyar residents to celebrate Senior’s Week with a free concert.
Cr Geoff McDonald said Seniors Week (August 17-25) was an opportunity for people of all ages to get together and celebrate the valuable contributions of older people.
A series of free events have been organised across the Toowoomba region.
Each will start with a morning tea followed by a concert by the Memphis Moovers.
The concert for Yarraman and Cooyar residents will be held on August 23 at the Cooyar Community Hall.
There will be a free bus travelling from Yarraman Bowls Club at 9:00am.
Doors open at 9:30am and all events include morning tea.
The event is free but bookings are essential: phone 13-18-72 and quote “Seniors Week 2019”.
