Nanango Race Club will be holding its Nanango Cup Race Meeting at the Lee Park Racecourse on Saturday.

The Nanango Cup is always one of the club’s busiest meetings of the year.

Because of a large number of acceptances, Saturday’s card will feature six races rather than the usual five.

The winners of the 2018-19 Premierships will be announced, along with the traditional Blessing Of The Jockeys ceremony.

The meeting will also offer guests an on-course TAB, live telecasts of interstate races, an undercover betting ring, barbecue and bar, as well as the [email protected] Cocktail Bar.

The meeting’s theme is “”Classic Black and White” and guests who dress to it can win prizes in the spot Fashions Of The Field competition.

Buses will be leaving Kingaroy’s Glendon Street Bus Depot at 12:00 noon and the Fitzroy Hotel at 12:30pm.

Gates will open about 11:00am with Race 1 leaving the barriers at 12:50pm.
