Two people have been flown to hospital with suspected spinal injuries following separate crashes during the Manumbar Rally on Saturday.

At 4:46pm, QAS paramedics were called to a single vehicle rollover at a location near Manumbar Road.

While they were treating the patient, another person approached them and sought treatment for injuries suffered in an earlier crash which occurred about 12:30pm.

The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called in and landed nearby.

Both patients were stabilised by the aeromedical crew and then airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

The rally, organised by the Brisbane Sporting Car Club, was the second round of the 2019 Queensland Rally Championship.

Competitors were based at Manumbar campdraft grounds and ran stages through forestry areas near Nanango, Elgin Vale and Gallangowan.
