Six fire crews rapidly brought a grassfire burning on the outskirts of Kingaroy under control on Friday morning.
The fire, in Clark and Swendson Road, was reported to authorities at 11:40am.
It broke out in an area adjacent to where a quick-moving fire burned out several hectares of grassland on March 4.
Friday’s fire was brought under control by noon, before it could threaten a nearby home.
Firefighters then conducted backburning in the area to ensure the area was safe.
