Heritage Nanango is supporting the drive to build the South Burnett’s first inclusive playground at Butter Factory Park in Nanango

February 4, 2019

Community groups and events are being invited to apply for support from the latest round of the Heritage Nanango Community Funding scheme.

The 2019 grants round opened on Friday, February 1.

Application packages can be obtained in person from the Heritage Community Branch in Drayton Street, Nanango.

Completed forms must be lodged in the “Sponsorship Applications” box inside the branch before 4:00pm on Friday, March 15.

Organisations who have not yet acquitted a previous sponsorship are not eligible to apply.

All funding for the community grants comes from the profits generated by Heritage Nanango Community Branch, and the board aims to sponsor groups from communities whose population supports Heritage Bank Nanango.

Since the branch opened in 2002, many millions of dollars have been distributed back to community groups.

The funding has assisted with everything from obtaining vital infrastructure such as lawn mowers and sound systems through to event co-funding, such as sponsorship of last year’s Nanango Christmas Carnival.

Any groups who are unsure if they are eligible should contact the branch on (07) 4164-6173.

Alternately, they can send any questions to the branch by email
