Good Price Pharmacy employee Emma Tewes hands the donation box over to Simon Stretton and pure-bred alpine dingo Honey

The dingoes at the Durong Dingo Sanctuary are going to be enjoying a happier Christmas thanks to the generosity of Kingaroy shoppers.

The Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse in Rogers Drive has been hosting a donation box on behalf of South Burnett Educational Wildlife Support Group Inc, the registered charity that raises funds on behalf of the sanctuary.

Every two or three months Sanctuary manager Simon Stretton visits the chemist shop to collect the donations, which go towards feeding and housing the dingoes.

Usually about $150 is collected, which makes the trip in from Durong worthwhile.

As a special way to say thank you, Simon presented Good Price Pharmacy employee Emma Tewes with a Durong Dingo Sanctuary T-shirt when he collected the latest donations on Friday.
