Police are seeking help to locate a stolen 2011 white Mazda BT-50 involved in a fuel drive-off from the Shell service station in Moore Street, Goomeri.

The ute was taken from Tavistock Street at Torquay on December 4 after thieves broke into a private residence and stole the keys.

The vehicle was later recorded on CCTV about 10:00am on December 5 in Goomeri.

Senior Constable Lorenzo Marabini, from Goomeri Police, said the vehicle was very distinctive with a ladder on the roof and bearing personalised number plates 04-DYR.
