The winning poster for 2018 NAIDOC Week

December 4, 2018

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists have been invited to submit artworks for the 2019 National NAIDOC Poster Competition.

The winning artists will earn a $10,000 cash prize and their artwork be used as the 2019 National NAIDOC poster.

This competition is a chance for talented artists aged 13 years and older to be recognised across Australia in celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and achievements.

The artwork must reflect next year’s National NAIDOC theme: “Voice. Truth. Treaty. Let’s work together for a shared future.”

The 2019 theme invites all Australians to walk with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in a movement of the nation for a better future.

It acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have always wanted an enhanced role in decision-making in Australia’s democracy.

Entries close on Monday February 4, 2019.
