Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington was the guest speaker at the Murgon RSL Sub-Branch community lunch held at Murgon RSL last Thursday.
The quarterly luncheons are always a popular event, with 120 people attending the end-of- year Christmas lunch.
“The Murgon RSL Sub-Branch is a very dedicated group providing support and welfare services for ex-servicemen and women in Murgon and its surrounding districts,” Mrs Frecklington said.
“I’d like to thank president Trevor Williamson and the RSL Sub-Branch members for inviting me to be a part of the event. The Murgon RSL Sub-Branch are quiet achievers, who do an amazing job all year round for the Murgon community and their efforts deserve to be recognised.
“It was lovely to meet so many people, hear their stories and enjoy good company at the Murgon RSL.
