A 17-year-old Kingaroy youth was admitted to hospital with suspected back injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Hodges Road near Kingaroy on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred about 4:15pm.
Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said the teenager was driving a Mazda ute which failed to negotiate a left hand turn.
Investigations are continuing into the cause of the crash but speed was believed to be a factor.
