A 13-year-old juvenile was charged after police attended a suspicious grass fire in Normanby Street, Nanango, on Sunday,

A Nanango police spokesman said the fire was extinguished by emergency services with no significant damage to property.

Subsequent investigations led to the teenager being charged and dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.

A 65-year-old Nanango man has been charged with producing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils after police searched a property on Bullcamp Road at East Nanango on November 18.

Police allegedly located cannabis plants at the address.

The man is due to appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on December 6.

A 21-year-old Nanango man has been charged with stealing after an incident on November 18 at a business in Fitzroy Street, Nanango.

He will appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on December 6.

Thieves broke into a home in Nanango-Brooklands Road, Nanango, at some time between 5:30pm on Sunday, November 11, and November 19.

A television and other property were stolen.

In a separate incident, about 3:30pm on November 22 a BMX bicycle was stolen from Railway Lane in Nanango.

Investigations into both these offences are continuing.
