Police in the Murgon-Cherbourg area have investigated the theft of five vehicles in just two days, plus the attempted theft of another.

Three boys and two men have been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle after a Nissan Patrol was allegedly taken from the Krebs Street caravan park in Murgon about 3:30am last Tuesday.

Police later located the vehicle in Cherbourg.

About 9:30pm the same day, car keys were allegedly stolen from an address in Cadell Street, Wondai, after a tool was used to cut open a screen door.

Police allege the keys were then used to steal a Mitsubishi sedan from a carport.

Police located the vehicle the next day in Cherbourg.

Three boys and a man have been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

The man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on November 15.

Three boys have been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and unlicensed driving after an incident at Cherbourg State School on Wednesday.

About 10:00am, the trio allegedly entered an empty classroom and located vehicle keys and cash in a bag.

Police will allege they then took a vehicle from the car park at the school.

The vehicle was located in Cherbourg about 11:30am.

About 6:00pm on Wednesday, personal items were stolen after thieves entered a dwelling on Coronation Drive, Murgon, through an open window.

The resident later disturbed two boys attempting to gain entry to a vehicle.

Investigations are continuing.

About 11:00pm unknown offenders removed a security screen from a window and entered a dwelling on Moreton Street, Wondai.

The thieves removed multiple sets of vehicle keys and other personal items before exiting via the same window.

Two vehicles parked at the address were stolen.

They were located at Cherbourg on Thursday.

Investigations are continuing.
