The final meeting of the South Burnett Community Agriculture Network for 2018 will be held on November 27 at Maidenwell Hall.

A complimentary light dinner will be served at 5:30pm before the meeting gets underway at 6:00pm.

BIEDO CEO Kristy Frahm said  everyone was welcome to come along to enjoy an evening of information and discussion about agriculture.

Guest speaker will be South Burnett Deputy Mayor Kathy Duff, recently appointed to Council’s Rural Services portfolio.

“Skye Douglass, of HighBrit Free-Range Pastured Beef, will also let us know about her recent experience in the National Farmers Federation Diversity in Ag Leadership Program,” Kristy said.

“Along with dinner and guest presentations, this meeting will give us an opportunity to celebrate National Agriculture Day, review 2018 Ag Network discussions and plan for 2019.”

The South Burnett Community Agriculture Network was formed in early 2017 to provide a regular opportunity for producers and growers from various sectors of agriculture across the South Burnett to connect and share information about challenges and opportunities facing agriculture in the region.

To assist with catering, RSVP by 5:00pm on November 23 by email or phone 0400-695-456 (advise any dietary requirements).
