A dirt bike rider aged in his 20s was airlifted to hospital with chest injuries after a crash at Manar Park, near Proston, on Saturday.

He was transported by the Queensland Ambulance Service  from the accident scene to the  RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter, which had flown in from the Sunshine Coast base.

A LifeFlight spokesperson said the injured man was in a serious but stable condition when he was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

A second rider involved in a separate incident at the park on Saturday was transported by QAS to hospital with a knee injury.
