There’s been some more good news for irrigators who rely on Boondooma Dam … their allocations have been lifted to 100 per cent.

SunWater announced the increase in medium priority allocations for the Boyne River & Tarong Water Scheme on Monday, but they are effective from Friday and will last six months.

Allocations rose from 24 per cent to 46 per cent just a week ago after recent inflows into the dam.

Medium Priority water allocations are mainly used for agricultural production.

On Monday morning, Boondooma Dam was 41.36 per cent full.
