Seven fire crews were called to a grass fire burning near Parker Road and Pauls Parade at Ellesmere on Thursday morning.
Firefighters arrived on scene about 10:40am.
One urban crew plus units from Stuart River, East Nanango, South Nanango and Brooklands attended the blaze.
No property was under threat.
QAS paramedics assessed a local resident at the scene for a minor knee injury but they did not require transportation to hospital.
The fire was contained by 10:55am and all fire crews had left by 11:45am after dampening down the area.
