QFES has issued an alert about a grass fire on Barker Creek Flat, near Nanango.
QFES crews are at a grass fire burning near the intersection of the D’Aguilar Highway and Ballin Road intersection at Barker Creek Flat.
The fire broke out about 10:00am and is posing no threat to property at this time.
Firefighters are working to contain the blaze.
There are traffic restrictions in the area, so motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
Residents should close windows and doors and keep their medications close by if they suffer from a respiratory condition.
People should call Triple Zero (000) immediately if they believe their property is under threat.
