In the Toowoomba Football League competition, South Burnett United will be taking on the Chinchilla Bears on Saturday night in a key game ahead of the final series.

The match – which will confirm the minor premiers in the competition – will be played at the Dalby PCYC grounds at 7:00pm.

Arch-rivals Willowburn White will face the Dalby Tigers earlier in the evening.

This is the last round of fixtures ahead of the finals series, which will be played across three weekends in Toowoomba.

Assuming both United and Willowburn White have wins on Saturday, the South Burnett team will finish the season as minor premiers.

But if Willowburn wins and United loses,  Willowburn White will finish on top of the table.

If Willowburn wins and United plays a draw, the minor premiership will be decided on for and against.

Either way, Willowburn White and United are guaranteed to face each other in Week 1 of the finals, with the winner earning a spot in the Grand Final.
