A woman has been flown to Brisbane in a stable condition after a head-on collision on the D’Aguilar Highway between South Nanango and Yarraman on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene about 1:30pm.

A QAS spokesperson said the patient suffered leg injuries in the crash.

She was treated at the scene by QAS paramedics and then airlifted by helicopter to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

The woman was driving a SUV which collided with another vehicle pulling a trailer.

No one was injured in the second vehicle.

Police investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
