It’s June and it’s officially winter, so it means it’s time again for the annual Queensland Winter Craft Festival in Kingaroy.

Two months of craft exhibitions kick off on Saturday at the Kingaroy Art Gallery.

The third annual Queensland Winter Craft Festival is a showcase for quality South Burnett craftspeople willing to share their skills and passion with others.

Exhibitions will include fibre and textile art, ceramics, quilts and paper-crafts.

Activities will include a wide range of workshops and skill-sharing demonstrations.

The festival will be officially opened by South Burnett Mayor Keith Campbell at 11:00am on Saturday.

More information – and workshop details – are available on the Gallery’s website
