Kumbia is gearing up for an enchanted evening on June 16 when the 13th South Burnett Debutante Ball will be held in the historic Kumbia Memorial Hall.

The Diamonds Dance Band from Toowoomba has been booked to provide live music to keep everyone dancing all night long.

Doors will open to the public at 7:00pm and the organisers are keen for as many people as possible to come along … especially people interested in watching the old-time tradition of debutantes and their partners being presented as they come out into “polite society”.

There will also be ballroom and old-time dancing on the night.

Tickets will be available at the door.

Cost is adults $20, high school children $15 and primary school children $10.

Proceeds from the night will go RACQ LifeFlight.
