The Kingaroy Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) is urging experienced plant operators and HR drivers looking for work to apply to Wagners Investments and the WorkPac Group in Toowoomba.

Both companies have secured contracts with AGL’s Coopers Gap Wind Farm project, and are advertising for staff on Seek right now.

Wagners Investments are offering multiple fixed term 12-month contracts for HR drivers, and WorkPac are seeking experienced mobile plant operators.

KCCI President Rob Fitz-Herbert said the KCCI was closely monitoring the job opportunities the wind farm project would create, and would like to see as many South Burnett businesses as possible benefit from it.

“Employment and contractor opportunities will benefit our region’s economy, and at the end of the day everybody in the South Burnett benefits from that,” Mr Fitz-Herbert said.

Information about the HR Driver positions can be found here, and information about the mobile plant operator position can be found here.
