A 35-year-old Goomeri woman who allegedly “flashed” a security guard at a Kingaroy hotel will have to pay fines of more than $1500.
Police were called to the pub at midnight on Saturday in relation to a woman behaving aggressively; officers gave her a “move on” direction because of her behavior.
Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said police were called back to the hotel 45 minutes later as the woman had returned.
“She exposed herself to security and was again acting in an aggressive manner,” Snr Sgt Tierney said.
“The woman was arrested and later released after being issued infringement notices for Public Nuisance – Offensive Behavior ($766) and Contravene A Direction ($756).
“At 4:10am, police on patrol in Youngman Street intercepted a Mitsubishi stationwagon for an RBT.
“The same woman was found to be the driver and returned a positive sample.”
The woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 9 charged with driving with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.102.

On Friday, the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit pulled over a 40-year-old Kingaroy woman driving on King Street.
She allegedly tested positive to methylamphetamine in her saliva. She will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court at a date to be fixed.
On Saturday, the Kingaroy RPU pulled over a 24-year-old Murgon man on the Bunya Highway at Tingoora. He will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on April 24 charged with unlicensed driving.

Gympie Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for items stolen between March 16-17 from a commercial property at Imbil.
Items stolen include a first aid kit, assorted hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, sockets), Rockwell cordless grinder, Rockwell cordless drill plus drill bits; 240V 5” Ryobi grinder, 240V 4” CMG grinder, brushcutter and leafblower.
Some of the items may have the business name written on them.
Also stolen was a quantity of cash and a bunch of keys.
