South Burnett libraries now have copies of the latest edition of “Breastfeeding … Naturally”, thanks to a donation by the Australian Breastfeeding Association.
The Kingaroy Group leader of the Australian Breastfeeding Association, Sarah Aitken, and association member Jess Janphitsamitra presented Cr Danita Potter and Kingaroy librarian Danielle Mengel with five copies of the book last week.
The book aims to provide new mums with a practical guide to navigate the unfamiliar terrain of parenting and breastfeeding during a child’s first year and beyond.
“This book provides valuable breastfeeding support and advice for mothers to help prepare them for what is ahead, with many suggestions on various topics which enable them to choose the right pathway for them and their babies,” Cr Potter said.
