Police visiting a Goombungee home on a routine matter have seized multiple weapons, some allegedly homemade and some replicas altered to fire live rounds.

The items allegedly located included a homemade 12 gauge shot gun, a handmade pellet gun, a potato cannon propelled by inflammable deodorant and three altered handguns.

A 66-year-old Goombungee man has been questioned by police and the weapons will be tested by the Ballistics Unit.
