Members of the Bunya Mountains Natural History Association have thanked the Heritage Bank, Nanango, for their sponsorship of a TV and DVD player.

The group were recipients of a Heritage Nanango Community Branch grant this year to purchase both items, which were recently installed at the group’s ‘Cedarvale’ museum at Dandabah.

The TV-DVD combo will be used to display photo slideshows of the birds, animals and scenery unique to the Bunya Mountains area to museum visitors, who come from all over south east Queensland to experience the region.

Right now, members are busy compiling more photos to be shown on the display.

Cedarvale is open on Saturdays from 10:00am until 3:00pm, and also on some Sundays.

For more information, contact Ron Sampson on (07) 4164-6198.
