The Kingaroy Junior Motorcycle Speedway Club will be hosting two Queensland State Titles on Saturday at their special showground track.

The Kingaroy Junior Bees have been awarded the right to host the Under 16 125cc Solo State Title and the 125cc Best Pairs State title.

“This is a wonderful achievement for our club and carries on from the successful event we hosted last year,” club secretary Tracey Tunstall said.

“Riders and their entourages will start arriving on Friday and stay until Sunday.

“It will be a great experience for the riders to compete on our track along with being a great boost to our town through riders being here for the weekend and using the facilities of the region.”

The Solo racing will begin at 10:00am and the Pairs at 2:00pm.

Entry for spectators is free.

Tracey said the club had continued to grow over the past 12 months and now has 55 members and 38 riders aged from 4–16, riding in PeeWees, 125cc and 250cc classes.

“2017 has been successful for the club with Come and Try Days, Practice Days and five rounds of the McDonald’s Club Day Series,” Tracey said.
