A truck driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a cattle truck overturned on the Burnett Highway north of Goomeri just before noon on Sunday.

The B-Double, loaded with almost 80 cattle, rolled on a stretch of the highway where multiple truck rollovers have occurred previously.

Some of the cattle were killed instantly in the crash while a dozen were euthanased on site.

The Queensland Ambulance Service took the truck driver to Murgon Hospital for treatment for lacerations.

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight helicopter flew to Manar Park motocross park near Boondooma on Saturday to help a Toowoomba man who suffered chest injuries in a bike crash.

The man, aged in his 40s,  was injured when he lost control of his bike.

He was airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
