Parts of the South Burnett lost power due to damage caused by the strong winds which accompanied Sunday night’s much-welcome rainfall.
At 4:45pm on Monday, power was still out in parts of the Boondooma, Brigooda, Coverty, Durong South, Speedwell and Proston areas due to storm damage.
The power went off at 11:23pm on Sunday night, affecting about 400 people.
Ergon Energy crews are on site working on repairing the damage.
Twenty-one residents in the Proston and Kinleymore areas also lost power for about 2.5 hours on Monday afternoon.
On Monday morning, 6100 residents from Kumbia to Benarkin, including Coolabunia, Maidenwell, Nanango, Yarraman and Blackbutt briefly lost power.
About 180 Ergon Energy customers in the Wondai, Wheatlands, Mondure and Silverleaf areas also lost power for a short period on Monday morning.
