Two men have been killed in a single-vehicle crash at Wengenville.

Police and emergency services were called to the Maidenwell-Bunya Mountains Road shortly after 2:00pm on Monday following reports of a single vehicle crash.

On arrival, two men were found inside a green Ford Falcon sedan.

Preliminary investigations suggest the sedan was travelling towards the Bunya Mountains when it failed to negotiate a bend, left the roadway, and crashed into a tree.

The driver of the vehicle, a 53-year-old man, and the sole passenger, a 42-year-old man, died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information in relation to the crash or to anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage to contact them.

Information can be given to PoliceLink on 13-14-44 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800-333-000.
