The “Better Health In Your Community” consultations, organised by Darling Downs West Moreton Public Health Network, will be returning to Cherbourg soon to collect more community views about health needs.
The facilitators will be at Cherbourg on August 29 from 11:30am to 1:00pm.
The latest meeting follows an initial Community Breakfast which was held at Cherbourg on August 4 which discussed the following issues:
- Service providers are servicing more than just Cherbourg
- Lack of public transport to referral centres
- More co-ordination of service providers
- Challenges with workforce development
The “Better Health In Your Community” project has so far included 29 formal community consultations in 13 towns, with a couple more to go.
