July 13, 2017

Motorists using Crumpton Drive in Blackbutt can expect some delays over the next two months.

The South Burnett Regional Council will be starting road works on Monday, July 17 as part of a long term program to progressively widen the road to two lanes.

The project will focus on widening the existing bitumen seal to a two lane sealed pavement.

Works will include clearing, earthworks, drainage, gravel pavement, bitumen sealing, line marking and
signage.

It is expected the work will be completed in September 2017.

During construction, traffic will be controlled either by traffic controllers or by traffic lights, which may cause minor delays for motorists.

Local residents with any concerns during the construction period should contact the onsite supervisor.

All other enquiries can be directed to the Council’s Customer Service Centre on (07) 4189-9100.
