Gavin Fletcher was crowned “King” at the end of the 2016 Kings Royal

The Kingaroy Speedway’s premier event, the three-day Kings Royal, will roar into action on Thursday night.

The Kings Royal is always timed to coincide with Australia Day which explains this year’s unusual mid-week start.

Racing will start at 5:00pm each night and finish by 10:30pm.

Modified Sedans will be action on all three nights with the winner crowned King of Kingaroy on Saturday night.

On Thursday, there’ll also be Junior Sedans and Production Sedans racing.

On Friday, it’s the turn of the Street Stocks and Late Models.

On Saturday, the Wingless Sprints will take over and as a special family bonus, there’ll also be fireworks.

A three-day pass costs $60 for adults and $40 for students and pensioners (aged / disability).

Children aged 12 and under are free.

Cost for one night is $25 for adults and $15 for students / pensioners.
