A 50-year-old Teelah man died in a motorcycle crash west of Blackbutt on Friday night.

Police said preliminary information suggested a black Harley Davidson was travelling along Stretton Drive at Teelah when it left the road and ran into a ditch.

The incident occurred about 7:00pm.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

A woman aged in her 30s was taken to Nanango Hospital in a stable condition after a two-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred on the corner of Alfred and Henry streets about 2:20pm.

In the early hours of Friday, a NSW man aged in his 40s died when his car and a truck collided on the Brisbane Valley Highway.

The head-on crash happened two kilometres north of Esk about 3:15am.

The driver of the truck, a 24-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to Ipswich Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The highway was closed for more than 12 hours while specialist equipment removed the truck.

A two-vehicle crash closed the Wide Bay Highway at Woolooga for several hours on Friday.

A woman was taken by ambulance to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.

A man was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital. He also travelled in a stable condition.
