Ergon Energy has begun its search for the next intake of bright sparks to join the company during its 2017 apprentice intake.

Sixty-five spots are available across Queensland.

“This is an important program for Ergon as the company strives to adapt to what is an ever-changing energy industry under the Energy Queensland banner,” Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said.

The advertised positions include roles for Apprentice Electrotechnology Electricians, Communications Technicians, Associate Degree Engineers, Network and IT and Electrical Distribution Linespersons.

Applications close on Monday, October 24, and can be made online
