The Grand Finals of the Kingaroy Basketball competition were played at the Kingaroy State High School indoor sports arena on Tuesday night.
In A Grade, Thunder defeated Raptors 43-36.
Chris Theuerkauf dominated in attack, scoring 19 points for Thunder.
For Raptors, Shayne Sheppeard and Aiden Kelleher both scored 12 points, with Kelleher slotting home three three-pointers.
In B Grade, Warriors’ fairytale run came to sudden halt, going down 44-35 to Bears.
Warriors had come from fifth spot on the ladder at the start of the finals to earn a spot in the Grand Final.
