The annual Kingaroy Scouts Show’n’Shine was a victim of the very busy weekend in the South Burnett last Saturday.
The show, which aims to be a major fundraiser for the local troop, was revived last year after a gap of about four years.
It attracted solid support in 2015 which augured well for 2016 … but with the number of major events on, the number of entrants this year were down to about 15.
However, the scouts involved enjoyed the day and trophies were still handed out to the winning entries in various categories.
The show’n’shine was held in front of the Scouts Den in James Street.
