A man charged in relation to a brawl during which a man died was placed on six months probation when he appeared in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Monday.

Alden Fabian Harvey, 19, pleaded guilty to a public nuisance offence.

Zack Bleakley, 22, was run over and killed by a reversing 4WD in Gladys Street, Kingaroy, in July 2015.

Police Prosecutor Sgt Wayne Bushell said after a long investigation the driver of the vehicle was not charged because his vehicle was under attack by a number of people.

Harvey admitted punching and kicking the vehicle.

Another man, Brandon-Lee Jackson, pleaded guilty to public nuisance in Rockhampton Magistrates Court last year and was sentenced to four months jail.

A third man will face a public nuisance charge on February 15.
