Police have charged a man with attempted kidnapping following an alleged incident involving a teenage boy in Murgon on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a 16-year-old was walking along Coronation Drive when he was approached by a man known to him in a vehicle.
Police will allege the man left the vehicle, spoke to the boy and then tried to grab his hand and restrain him.
The boy was able to flee and notified police.
A 38-year-old Goomeri man has been charged with attempted kidnapping and is due to appear in the Murgon Magistrate’s Court today.
