A magnitude 2.8 earthquake rattled windows in the Toogoolawah area on Thursday afternoon.
The tremor was registered at 5:29pm at a depth of 20km.
The epicentre was about 9km north-east of Toogoolawah near Scrub Creek Road.
Residents have reported feeling the quake up to 50km away.
