Local chef – and southburnett.com.au columnist – Jason Ford will be joining celebrity chefs Matt Golinski and Glen Barratt on stage at the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival later this month.
As it’s a pumpkin festival, pumpkins will be included in the recipes but the main focus will be on local produce.
The trio will be cooking with Moya Valley chicken, Bendele Farm duck, Rhodavale pork, Nolans beef and goat.
This is the seventh time Jason has been invited to cook at the Pumpkin Festival.
“The Pumpkin Festival has always been a drawcard for well-known food identities,” Jason said.
“Miguel Maestre from Channel 10’s The Living Room attended last year.”
This year the chefs will appearing on the Gympie Gold Regional Produce Stage between 9:00am and 2:00pm.
